 |
| وَالْعَادِيَاتِ ضَبْحًا {١} |
1. By the chargers panting, |
| فَالْمُورِيَاتِ قَدْحًا {٢} |
2. And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. |
| فَالْمُغِيرَاتِ صُبْحًا {٣} |
3. And raiding at dawn |
| فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِ نَقْعًا {٤} |
4. And therein raising dust. |
| فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِ جَمْعًا {٥} |
5. And cleaving their way therein into the host, |
| إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ لِرَبِّهِ لَكَنُودٌ {٦} |
6. Verily man is Unto his Lord ungrateful. |
| وَإِنَّهُ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ {٧} |
7. And verily to that he is witness. |
| وَإِنَّهُ لِحُبِّ الْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ {٨} |
8. And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, |
| أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِي الْقُبُورِ {٩} |
9. Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves, shall be ransacked? |
| وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِي الصُّدُورِ {١٠} |
10. And there shall be brounht to light that which is in the breasts? |
| إِنَّ رَبَّهُمْ بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَخَبِيرٌ {١١} |
11. Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. |
