| أَلْهَاكُمُ التَّكَاثُرُ {١} |
1. Until you come to the graves. |
| حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ الْمَقَابِرَ {٢} |
2. Nay, you will soon know, |
| كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ {٣} |
3. Nay, again, you will soon know. |
| ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ {٤} |
4. Nay, would that you knew with a certain knowledge! |
| كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ الْيَقِينِ {٥} |
5. You will certainly see hell; |
| لَتَرَوُنَّ الْجَحِيمَ {٦} |
6. Then you will see it with certainty of sight; |
| ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ الْيَقِينِ {٧} |
7. Then on that day you shall certainly be questioned about the boons. |
| ثُمَّ لَتُسْأَلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ النَّعِيمِ {٨} |
8. By the time! |
