| لِإِيلَافِ قُرَيْشٍ {١} | 1. For the taming (civilizing) of the Qureysh; |
| إِيلَافِهِمْ رِحْلَةَ الشِّتَاءِ وَالصَّيْفِ {٢} | 2. Their covenant covers their caravans in winter and summer. |
| فَلْيَعْبُدُوا رَبَّ هَٰذَا الْبَيْتِ {٣} | 3. So let them serve the Lord of this house |
| الَّذِي أَطْعَمَهُمْ مِنْ جُوعٍ وَآمَنَهُمْ مِنْ خَوْفٍ {٤} | 4. Who feeds them against hunger, and makes them safe against fear? |
