| لِإِيلَافِ قُرَيْشٍ {١} | 1. Because of giving alliances to the Quraish. |
| إِيلَافِهِمْ رِحْلَةَ الشِّتَاءِ وَالصَّيْفِ {٢} | 2. (We) gave them alliances during both their travels of winter and summer. |
| فَلْيَعْبُدُوا رَبَّ هَٰذَا الْبَيْتِ {٣} | 3. So they must worship the Lord of this House. (The Ka’aba) |
| الَّذِي أَطْعَمَهُمْ مِنْ جُوعٍ وَآمَنَهُمْ مِنْ خَوْفٍ {٤} | 4. The One Who gave them food in hunger, and bestowed them safety from a great fear. |
