| قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ {١} | 1. Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed - peace and blessings be upon him), “He is Allah, He is One.” |
| اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ {٢} | 2. “Allah is the Un-wanting.” (Perfect, does not require anything.) |
| لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ {٣} | 3. “He has no offspring, nor is He born from anything.” |
| وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ {٤} | 4. “And there is none equal to Him.” |
