| قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ {١} |
1. Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “I take refuge of the One Who creates the Daybreak.” |
| مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ {٢} |
2. “From the evil of His entire creation.” |
| وَمِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ {٣} |
3. “And from the evil of the matter that darkens when it sets.” |
| وَمِنْ شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ {٤} |
4. “And from the evil of the witches who blow into knots.” |
| وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ {٥} |
5. “And from the evil of the envier when he is envious of me.” |
