| قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ {١} | 1. (Muhammad), say, "I seek protection from the Cherisher of mankind, |
| مَلِكِ النَّاسِ {٢} | 2. the King of mankind, |
| إِلَٰهِ النَّاسِ {٣} | 3. the Lord of mankind |
| مِنْ شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ {٤} | 4. against the evil of the temptations of the satans, |
| الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ {٥} | 5. of jinn and human beings |
| مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ {٦} | 6. who induce temptation into the hearts of mankind. |
