1. T S M . |
| تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ الْمُبِينِ {٢} |
2. Those are The Book`s, the clear/evident verses/evidences . |
| لَعَلَّكَ بَاخِعٌ نَفْسَكَ أَلَّا يَكُونُوا مُؤْمِنِينَ {٣} |
3. Maybe/perhaps you (are) exhausting/destroying yourself from anger that they not be believing. |
| إِنْ نَشَأْ نُنَزِّلْ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ آيَةً فَظَلَّتْ أَعْنَاقُهُمْ لَهَا خَاضِعِينَ {٤} |
4. If We want We descend on them from the sky an evidence/sign , so their necks continued/became to it bending/leaning . |
| وَمَا يَأْتِيهِمْ مِنْ ذِكْرٍ مِنَ الرَّحْمَٰنِ مُحْدَثٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا عَنْهُ مُعْرِضِينَ {٥} |
5. And none from a reminder initiated/originated from the merciful comes to them except they were from it objecting/opposing . |
| فَقَدْ كَذَّبُوا فَسَيَأْتِيهِمْ أَنْبَاءُ مَا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ {٦} |
6. So they had lied/denied/falsified so (the) news/information (of) what they were with it mocking/making fun of, will come to them. |
| أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا إِلَى الْأَرْضِ كَمْ أَنْبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِنْ كُلِّ زَوْجٍ كَرِيمٍ {٧} |
7. Do they not see to the earth/Planet Earth how many/much We sprouted/grew in it from every/each generous pair . |
| إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ {٨} |
8. That in that (is) an evidence/sign (E) , and most of them were not believing. |
| وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ {٩} |
9. And that your Lord He is (E) the glorious/mighty , the merciful. |
| وَإِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبُّكَ مُوسَىٰ أَنِ ائْتِ الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ {١٠} |
10. And when Moses called/cried (to) your Lord that: "Come/bring the nation the unjust/oppressive." |
| قَوْمَ فِرْعَوْنَ ۚ أَلَا يَتَّقُونَ {١١} |
11. Pharaoh`s nation, do they not fear and obey? |
| قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ يُكَذِّبُونِ {١٢} |
12. He said: "My Lord, that I, I fear that they deny me . |
| وَيَضِيقُ صَدْرِي وَلَا يَنْطَلِقُ لِسَانِي فَأَرْسِلْ إِلَىٰ هَارُونَ {١٣} |
13. And my chest narrows/tightens and my tongue/speech does not speak/clarify, so send to Aaron . |
| وَلَهُمْ عَلَيَّ ذَنْبٌ فَأَخَافُ أَنْ يَقْتُلُونِ {١٤} |
14. And for them on (against) me (is) a crime, so I fear that they kill me. |
| قَالَ كَلَّا ۖ فَاذْهَبَا بِآيَاتِنَا ۖ إِنَّا مَعَكُمْ مُسْتَمِعُونَ {١٥} |
15. He said: "No but, so you (B) go/go away with Our verses/evidences/signs, that We are with you hearing/listening." |
| فَأْتِيَا فِرْعَوْنَ فَقُولَا إِنَّا رَسُولُ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ {١٦} |
16. So you (B) come to Pharaoh, so say (B): `That we are messenger(s) (of) the creations all together`s/(universes`) Lord.` |
| أَنْ أَرْسِلْ مَعَنَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ {١٧} |
17. `That send with us Israel`s sons and daughters.` |
| قَالَ أَلَمْ نُرَبِّكَ فِينَا وَلِيدًا وَلَبِثْتَ فِينَا مِنْ عُمُرِكَ سِنِينَ {١٨} |
18. He said: "Did we not bring you up in (between) us (as) a child/new born, and you stayed/remained in (between) us years from your lifetime?" |
| وَفَعَلْتَ فَعْلَتَكَ الَّتِي فَعَلْتَ وَأَنْتَ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ {١٩} |
19. And you made/did your one deed/act which you made/did, and you are from the disbelievers. |
| قَالَ فَعَلْتُهَا إِذًا وَأَنَا مِنَ الضَّالِّينَ {٢٠} |
20. He said: "I made/did it then, and (while) I am from the misguided." |
| فَفَرَرْتُ مِنْكُمْ لَمَّا خِفْتُكُمْ فَوَهَبَ لِي رَبِّي حُكْمًا وَجَعَلَنِي مِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ {٢١} |
21. So I escaped/fled from you when I feared you, so my Lord granted for me judgment/rule, and He made/put me from the messengers. |
| وَتِلْكَ نِعْمَةٌ تَمُنُّهَا عَلَيَّ أَنْ عَبَّدْتَ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ {٢٢} |
22. And that is a blessing/goodness you brag/remind me repetitiously of , that you enslaved Israel`s sons and daughters. |
| قَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ وَمَا رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ {٢٣} |
23. Pharaoh said: "And what (is) the creations all together`s/(universes`) Lord?" |
| قَالَ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا ۖ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُوقِنِينَ {٢٤} |
24. He (Moses) said: "Lord (of) the skies/space and the earth/Planet Earth, and what (is) between them (B), if youwere sure/certain." |
| قَالَ لِمَنْ حَوْلَهُ أَلَا تَسْتَمِعُونَ {٢٥} |
25. He (Pharaoh) said to whom (was) around/surrounding him: "Do you not hear/listen?" |
| قَالَ رَبُّكُمْ وَرَبُّ آبَائِكُمُ الْأَوَّلِينَ {٢٦} |
26. He (Moses) said: "Your Lord, and your first/beginning father`s/forefather`s Lord." |
| قَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَكُمُ الَّذِي أُرْسِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ لَمَجْنُونٌ {٢٧} |
27. He (Pharaoh) said: "That your messenger who was sent to you (is) mad/insane (E)." |
| قَالَ رَبُّ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا ۖ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ {٢٨} |
28. He (Moses) said: "Lord (of) the sunrise/east and the sunset/west and what (is) between them (B) if you were reasoning/comprehending ." |
| قَالَ لَئِنِ اتَّخَذْتَ إِلَٰهًا غَيْرِي لَأَجْعَلَنَّكَ مِنَ الْمَسْجُونِينَ {٢٩} |
29. He (Pharaoh) said: "If (E) you took/received a god other than me, I will make you (E) from the imprisoned/prisoners." |
| قَالَ أَوَلَوْ جِئْتُكَ بِشَيْءٍ مُبِينٍ {٣٠} |
30. He (Moses) said: "Even if I came to you with a clear/evident thing." |
| قَالَ فَأْتِ بِهِ إِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ {٣١} |
31. He (Pharaoh) said: "So come/bring with it if you were from the truthful." |
| فَأَلْقَىٰ عَصَاهُ فَإِذَا هِيَ ثُعْبَانٌ مُبِينٌ {٣٢} |
32. So he threw/threw away his stick/cane, so then it is (a) clear/evident snake. |
| وَنَزَعَ يَدَهُ فَإِذَا هِيَ بَيْضَاءُ لِلنَّاظِرِينَ {٣٣} |
33. And he removed/pulled his hand so then it is white to the lookers/seers . |
| قَالَ لِلْمَلَإِ حَوْلَهُ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَسَاحِرٌ عَلِيمٌ {٣٤} |
34. He said to the nobles/assembly around/surrounding him, that, that (is) a knowledgeable magician/sorcerer (E): |
| يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُخْرِجَكُمْ مِنْ أَرْضِكُمْ بِسِحْرِهِ فَمَاذَا تَأْمُرُونَ {٣٥} |
35. He wants/intends that he brings you out from your land with his magic/sorcery, so what (do) you order/command? |
| قَالُوا أَرْجِهْ وَأَخَاهُ وَابْعَثْ فِي الْمَدَائِنِ حَاشِرِينَ {٣٦} |
36. They said: "Delay/postpone him and his brother and send in the villages/urban cities gatherers." |
| يَأْتُوكَ بِكُلِّ سَحَّارٍ عَلِيمٍ {٣٧} |
37. They come to you with every knowledgeable magician/sorcerer. |
| فَجُمِعَ السَّحَرَةُ لِمِيقَاتِ يَوْمٍ مَعْلُومٍ {٣٨} |
38. So the magicians/sorcerers were gathered/collected to a known appointed place day/time . |
| وَقِيلَ لِلنَّاسِ هَلْ أَنْتُمْ مُجْتَمِعُونَ {٣٩} |
39. And (it) was said to the people: "Are you gathering/uniting? |
| لَعَلَّنَا نَتَّبِعُ السَّحَرَةَ إِنْ كَانُوا هُمُ الْغَالِبِينَ {٤٠} |
40. Maybe/perhaps we follow the magicians/sorcerers, if they, they were, the defeaters . |
| فَلَمَّا جَاءَ السَّحَرَةُ قَالُوا لِفِرْعَوْنَ أَئِنَّ لَنَا لَأَجْرًا إِنْ كُنَّا نَحْنُ الْغَالِبِينَ {٤١} |
41. So when the magicians/sorcerers came, they said to Pharaoh: "Is for us a reward/wage/fee (E) if we, we were the defeaters ?" |
| قَالَ نَعَمْ وَإِنَّكُمْ إِذًا لَمِنَ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ {٤٢} |
42. He said: "Yes and you are then from (E) the neared/closer." |
| قَالَ لَهُمْ مُوسَىٰ أَلْقُوا مَا أَنْتُمْ مُلْقُونَ {٤٣} |
43. Moses said to them: "Throw/throw away what you are throwing/throwing away." |
| فَأَلْقَوْا حِبَالَهُمْ وَعِصِيَّهُمْ وَقَالُوا بِعِزَّةِ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّا لَنَحْنُ الْغَالِبُونَ {٤٤} |
44. So they threw/threw away their ropes/ties and their sticks/canes, and they said: "With Pharaoh`s glory/might ,that we, we are the defeaters ." |
| فَأَلْقَىٰ مُوسَىٰ عَصَاهُ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَلْقَفُ مَا يَأْفِكُونَ {٤٥} |
45. So Moses threw/threw away his stick/cane, so then it snatches/swallows quickly what they lie/falsify. |
| فَأُلْقِيَ السَّحَرَةُ سَاجِدِينَ {٤٦} |
46. So the magicians/sorcerers were thrown/thrown away prostrating. |
| قَالُوا آمَنَّا بِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ {٤٧} |
47. They said: "We believed with the creations all together`s/(universes`) Lord." |
| رَبِّ مُوسَىٰ وَهَارُونَ {٤٨} |
48. Moses` Lord and Aaron`s. |
| قَالَ آمَنْتُمْ لَهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ آذَنَ لَكُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُ لَكَبِيرُكُمُ الَّذِي عَلَّمَكُمُ السِّحْرَ فَلَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ ۚ لَأُقَطِّعَنَّ أَيْدِيَكُمْ وَأَرْجُلَكُمْ مِنْ خِلَافٍ وَلَأُصَلِّبَنَّكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ {٤٩} |
49. He said: "You believed to him before that I permit/allow for you, that he truly is your greatest/teacher and leader (E) who taught/instructed you the magic/sorcery, so you will/shall (E) know I will cut off/sever (E) your hands and your feet from opposites (sides), and I will crucify you/place you on crosses (E) all/all together." |
| قَالُوا لَا ضَيْرَ ۖ إِنَّا إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا مُنْقَلِبُونَ {٥٠} |
50. They said: "No harm/pain , that we to our Lord are returning ." |
| إِنَّا نَطْمَعُ أَنْ يَغْفِرَ لَنَا رَبُّنَا خَطَايَانَا أَنْ كُنَّا أَوَّلَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ {٥١} |
51. That we wish/hope/covet that our Lord forgives for us our sins/mistakes , that we were first (of)259the believers. |
| وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ أَنْ أَسْرِ بِعِبَادِي إِنَّكُمْ مُتَّبَعُونَ {٥٢} |
52. And We inspired/transmitted to Moses that: "Travel/depart at night with My worshippers/slaves, that you are being followed." |
| فَأَرْسَلَ فِرْعَوْنُ فِي الْمَدَائِنِ حَاشِرِينَ {٥٣} |
53. So Pharaoh sent in the cities/towns gatherers (who said): |
| إِنَّ هَٰؤُلَاءِ لَشِرْذِمَةٌ قَلِيلُونَ {٥٤} |
54. That, those (are) a small group/portion (E) few/little. |
| وَإِنَّهُمْ لَنَا لَغَائِظُونَ {٥٥} |
55. And that they truly are for us angering/enraging (E). |
| وَإِنَّا لَجَمِيعٌ حَاذِرُونَ {٥٦} |
56. And that we (E) (are) all together (E) cautious . |
| فَأَخْرَجْنَاهُمْ مِنْ جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ {٥٧} |
57. So We brought them out from treed gardens/paradises and water springs/wells. |
| وَكُنُوزٍ وَمَقَامٍ كَرِيمٍ {٥٨} |
58. And treasures/buried treasures and (an) honoured/generous position/status. |
| كَذَٰلِكَ وَأَوْرَثْنَاهَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ {٥٩} |
59. As/like that, and We made it be inherited (to) Israel`s sons and daughters. |
| فَأَتْبَعُوهُمْ مُشْرِقِينَ {٦٠} |
60. So they followed them at sunrise. |
| فَلَمَّا تَرَاءَى الْجَمْعَانِ قَالَ أَصْحَابُ مُوسَىٰ إِنَّا لَمُدْرَكُونَ {٦١} |
61. So when the two groups/gatherings saw each other, Moses` friends/company said: "That we are being caught up/overtaken (E) ." |
| قَالَ كَلَّا ۖ إِنَّ مَعِيَ رَبِّي سَيَهْدِينِ {٦٢} |
62. He said: "No but that truly with me (is) my Lord, He will guide me." |
| فَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ أَنِ اضْرِبْ بِعَصَاكَ الْبَحْرَ ۖ فَانْفَلَقَ فَكَانَ كُلُّ فِرْقٍ كَالطَّوْدِ الْعَظِيمِ {٦٣} |
63. So We inspired/transmitted to Moses that: "Beat/strike/move with your stick/cane the sea/large body of water ." So it broke in half/split open/cracked, so every/each part/piece was as the huge mountain, the great. |
| وَأَزْلَفْنَا ثَمَّ الْآخَرِينَ {٦٤} |
64. And We advanced/brought near the others/lasts there at the same time or place (We made them almost catch up). |
| وَأَنْجَيْنَا مُوسَىٰ وَمَنْ مَعَهُ أَجْمَعِينَ {٦٥} |
65. And We saved/rescued Moses and who (is) with him all/all together. |
| ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا الْآخَرِينَ {٦٦} |
66. Then We drowned/sunk the others . |
| إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ {٦٧} |
67. That in that (is) an evidence/sign (E) , and most of them were not believing. |
| وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ {٦٨} |
68. And that your Lord He is (E) the glorious/mighty, the merciful. |
| وَاتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ {٦٩} |
69. And read/recite on (to) them Abraham`s information/news. |
| إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ {٧٠} |
70. When He said to his father and his nation: "What (do) you worship?" |
| قَالُوا نَعْبُدُ أَصْنَامًا فَنَظَلُّ لَهَا عَاكِفِينَ {٧١} |
71. They said: "We worship idols/statues so we continue/remain to it devoting/dedicating ." |
| قَالَ هَلْ يَسْمَعُونَكُمْ إِذْ تَدْعُونَ {٧٢} |
72. He said: "Do they hear/listen to you when/if you call?" |
| أَوْ يَنْفَعُونَكُمْ أَوْ يَضُرُّونَ {٧٣} |
73. Or they benefit you or they harm? |
| قَالُوا بَلْ وَجَدْنَا آبَاءَنَا كَذَٰلِكَ يَفْعَلُونَ {٧٤} |
74. They said: "But we found our fathers as/like that they make/do ." |
| قَالَ أَفَرَأَيْتُمْ مَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْبُدُونَ {٧٥} |
75. He said: "Did you see/understand what you were worshipping?" |
| أَنْتُمْ وَآبَاؤُكُمُ الْأَقْدَمُونَ {٧٦} |
76. You and your fathers/forefathers the eldest/old/ancient . |
| فَإِنَّهُمْ عَدُوٌّ لِي إِلَّا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ {٧٧} |
77. So they truly are an enemy to me except the creations all together`s/(universes`) Lord. |
| الَّذِي خَلَقَنِي فَهُوَ يَهْدِينِ {٧٨} |
78. Who created me, so He guides me. |
| وَالَّذِي هُوَ يُطْعِمُنِي وَيَسْقِينِ {٧٩} |
79. And who He feeds me and He gives me drink. |
| وَإِذَا مَرِضْتُ فَهُوَ يَشْفِينِ {٨٠} |
80. And if I became sick/diseased, so He cures/heals me . |
| وَالَّذِي يُمِيتُنِي ثُمَّ يُحْيِينِ {٨١} |
81. And who makes me die, then revives/makes me alive. |
| وَالَّذِي أَطْمَعُ أَنْ يَغْفِرَ لِي خَطِيئَتِي يَوْمَ الدِّينِ {٨٢} |
82. And who I wish/hope/covet that He forgives for me my sin/wrong (on) the Judgment`s Day/Resurrection260Day . |
| رَبِّ هَبْ لِي حُكْمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ {٨٣} |
83. My Lord, grant/present for me judgment/rule and make me catch up/join with the correct/righteous. |
| وَاجْعَلْ لِي لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ فِي الْآخِرِينَ {٨٤} |
84. And make/put for me (a) truth`s tongue/speech in the ends/lasts/others. |
| وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنْ وَرَثَةِ جَنَّةِ النَّعِيمِ {٨٥} |
85. And make/put me from the blessing`s/comfort and eases` treed garden`s/paradise`s heirs. |
| وَاغْفِرْ لِأَبِي إِنَّهُ كَانَ مِنَ الضَّالِّينَ {٨٦} |
86. And forgive to my father, that he truly was from the misguided. |
| وَلَا تُخْزِنِي يَوْمَ يُبْعَثُونَ {٨٧} |
87. And do not shame/disgrace me (on) a day/time they are being resurrected/revived . |
| يَوْمَ لَا يَنْفَعُ مَالٌ وَلَا بَنُونَ {٨٨} |
88. A day/time property/possession and nor sons/sons and daughters do not benefit. |
| إِلَّا مَنْ أَتَى اللَّهَ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ {٨٩} |
89. Except who came (to) God with a sound/safe (clear) heart/mind . |
| وَأُزْلِفَتِ الْجَنَّةُ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ {٩٠} |
90. And paradise was advanced/brought near to the fearing and obeying. |
| وَبُرِّزَتِ الْجَحِيمُ لِلْغَاوِينَ {٩١} |
91. And the Hell/place of intense heat was made to emerge for the misguided/lured . |
| وَقِيلَ لَهُمْ أَيْنَ مَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْبُدُونَ {٩٢} |
92. And (it) was said to them: "Where (is) what you were worshipping?" |
| مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ هَلْ يَنْصُرُونَكُمْ أَوْ يَنْتَصِرُونَ {٩٣} |
93. From other than God? Do they give you victory/aid or they become victorious? |
| فَكُبْكِبُوا فِيهَا هُمْ وَالْغَاوُونَ {٩٤} |
94. So they were thrown down in it, they and the enticing . |
| وَجُنُودُ إِبْلِيسَ أَجْمَعُونَ {٩٥} |
95. And Satan`s soldiers/warriors all/all together. |
| قَالُوا وَهُمْ فِيهَا يَخْتَصِمُونَ {٩٦} |
96. They said and (while) they are in it disputing/arguing : |
| تَاللَّهِ إِنْ كُنَّا لَفِي ضَلَالٍ مُبِينٍ {٩٧} |
97. By God, that truly we were in clear/evident misguidance. |
| إِذْ نُسَوِّيكُمْ بِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ {٩٨} |
98. When/if we make you equal with the creations all together`s/(universes`) Lord. |
| وَمَا أَضَلَّنَا إِلَّا الْمُجْرِمُونَ {٩٩} |
99. And none except the criminals/sinners misguided us. |
| فَمَا لَنَا مِنْ شَافِعِينَ {١٠٠} |
100. So (there are) none for us from mediators. |
| وَلَا صَدِيقٍ حَمِيمٍ {١٠١} |
101. And nor a concerned friend. |
| فَلَوْ أَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةً فَنَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ {١٠٢} |
102. And if that (E) (there were) for us a return/repetition so we be/become from the believers. |
| إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ {١٠٣} |
103. That truly in that (is) an evidence/sign (E) , and most of them were not believing. |
| وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ {١٠٤} |
104. And that truly your Lord, He is (E) the glorious/mighty , the merciful. |
| كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ الْمُرْسَلِينَ {١٠٥} |
105. Noah`s nation denied the messengers. |
| إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ نُوحٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ {١٠٦} |
106. When their brother Noah, said to them: "Do you not fear and obey? |
| إِنِّي لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ {١٠٧} |
107. That I am for you a faithful messenger. |
| فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ {١٠٨} |
108. So fear and obey God, and obey me. |
| وَمَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ {١٠٩} |
109. And I do not ask/beg you on it from a wage/fee/reward, that truly my wage/reward (is) except on the creations all together`s/(universes`) Lord. |
| فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ {١١٠} |
110. So fear and obey God and obey me. |
| قَالُوا أَنُؤْمِنُ لَكَ وَاتَّبَعَكَ الْأَرْذَلُونَ {١١١} |
111. They said: "Do we believe to you, and the mean/low/despised followed you?" |
| قَالَ وَمَا عِلْمِي بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ {١١٢} |
112. He said: "And what is my knowledge with what they were making/doing ?" |
| إِنْ حِسَابُهُمْ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّي ۖ لَوْ تَشْعُرُونَ {١١٣} |
113. That truly their account/calculation (is) except on my Lord, if you feel/know/sense. |
| وَمَا أَنَا بِطَارِدِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ {١١٤} |
114. And I am not with expelling/forcing out the believers. |
| إِنْ أَنَا إِلَّا نَذِيرٌ مُبِينٌ {١١٥} |
115. That I am except a clear/evident warner/giver of notice. |
| قَالُوا لَئِنْ لَمْ تَنْتَهِ يَا نُوحُ لَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْمَرْجُومِينَ {١١٦} |
116. They said: "If (E) you do not end/terminate/stop, you Noah, you will be/become (E) from the stoned."261 |
| قَالَ رَبِّ إِنَّ قَوْمِي كَذَّبُونِ {١١٧} |
117. He said: "My Lord, that truly my nation denied me ." |
| فَافْتَحْ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُمْ فَتْحًا وَنَجِّنِي وَمَنْ مَعِيَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ {١١٨} |
118. So judge/open between me and between them (between me and them) an opening/victory, and save/rescue me and who (is) with me from the believers. |
| فَأَنْجَيْنَاهُ وَمَنْ مَعَهُ فِي الْفُلْكِ الْمَشْحُونِ {١١٩} |
119. So We saved/rescued him and who (was) with him in the ship/ships, the full/loaded. |
| ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا بَعْدُ الْبَاقِينَ {١٢٠} |
120. Then We drowned/sunk after (that) the remainders. |
| إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ {١٢١} |
121. That in that (is) an evidence/sign (E) , and most of them were not believing. |
| وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ {١٢٢} |
122. And that truly your Lord, he is (E) the glorious/mighty , the merciful. |
| كَذَّبَتْ عَادٌ الْمُرْسَلِينَ {١٢٣} |
123. Aad denied the messengers." |
| إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ هُودٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ {١٢٤} |
124. When/if their brother Hood said to them: "Do you not fear and obey?" |
| إِنِّي لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ {١٢٥} |
125. That I am for you a faithful messenger. |
| فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ {١٢٦} |
126. So fear and obey God and obey me. |
| وَمَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ {١٢٧} |
127. And I do not ask/beg you on it from a wage/fee/reward, that truly my wage/reward (is) except on the creations all together`s/(universe`s) Lord. |
| أَتَبْنُونَ بِكُلِّ رِيعٍ آيَةً تَعْبَثُونَ {١٢٨} |
128. Do you build/construct at every/each high hill an evidence , something useless in vanity ?" |
| وَتَتَّخِذُونَ مَصَانِعَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَخْلُدُونَ {١٢٩} |
129. And you take factories , maybe/perhaps you be immortal/eternal ? |
| وَإِذَا بَطَشْتُمْ بَطَشْتُمْ جَبَّارِينَ {١٣٠} |
130. And if you destroyed/attacked violently, you destroyed/attacked violently (as) tyrants/rebels ? |
| فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ {١٣١} |
131. So fear and obey God and obey me. |
| وَاتَّقُوا الَّذِي أَمَدَّكُمْ بِمَا تَعْلَمُونَ {١٣٢} |
132. And fear and obey who extended/spread you with what you know. |
| أَمَدَّكُمْ بِأَنْعَامٍ وَبَنِينَ {١٣٣} |
133. He extended/spread you with camels/livestock and sons/sons and daughters. |
| وَجَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ {١٣٤} |
134. And treed gardens/paradises and water springs/wells. |
| إِنِّي أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ {١٣٥} |
135. That I fear on (for) you a great day`s` torture. |
| قَالُوا سَوَاءٌ عَلَيْنَا أَوَعَظْتَ أَمْ لَمْ تَكُنْ مِنَ الْوَاعِظِينَ {١٣٦} |
136. They said: "(It is) equal/alike on (to) us, had you preached/advised , or you did not be from the preachers/advisers ." |
| إِنْ هَٰذَا إِلَّا خُلُقُ الْأَوَّلِينَ {١٣٧} |
137. That truly that (is) except the first`s/beginner`s nature/character. |
| وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ {١٣٨} |
138. And we are not with being tortured. |
| فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ {١٣٩} |
139. So they denied him , so We made them die/destroyed them, that truly in that (is) an evidence/sign (E), and most of them were not believing. |
| وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ {١٤٠} |
140. And that truly your Lord He is (E), the glorious/mighty , the merciful. |
| كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ الْمُرْسَلِينَ {١٤١} |
141. Thamud denied the messengers. |
| إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ صَالِحٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ {١٤٢} |
142. When/if their brother Saleh said to them: "Do you not fear and obey?" |
| إِنِّي لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ {١٤٣} |
143. That I am for you a faithful messenger. |
| فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ {١٤٤} |
144. So fear and obey God and obey me. |
| وَمَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ {١٤٥} |
145. And I do not ask/beg you on it from a wage/fee/reward, that truly my wage/reward (is) except on the creations all together`s/(universes`) Lord. |
| أَتُتْرَكُونَ فِي مَا هَاهُنَا آمِنِينَ {١٤٦} |
146. Are you going to be left in what (is) here here safe/secure ? |
| فِي جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ {١٤٧} |
147. In treed gardens/paradises and water springs/wells.262 |
| وَزُرُوعٍ وَنَخْلٍ طَلْعُهَا هَضِيمٌ {١٤٨} |
148. And plants/crops and palm trees, its first fruit of the season (is) slender/digestible (fine). |
| وَتَنْحِتُونَ مِنَ الْجِبَالِ بُيُوتًا فَارِهِينَ {١٤٩} |
149. And you actively/cleverly carve out from the mountains houses/homes. |
| فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ {١٥٠} |
150. So fear and obey God and obey me. |
| وَلَا تُطِيعُوا أَمْرَ الْمُسْرِفِينَ {١٥١} |
151. And do not obey the spoilers`/extravagators` order/command/matter/affair. |
| الَّذِينَ يُفْسِدُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا يُصْلِحُونَ {١٥٢} |
152. Those who corrupt/disorder in the earth/Planet Earth, and they do not correct/repair . |
| قَالُوا إِنَّمَا أَنْتَ مِنَ الْمُسَحَّرِينَ {١٥٣} |
153. They said: "Truly/but you are from the bewitched/enchanted." |
| مَا أَنْتَ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِثْلُنَا فَأْتِ بِآيَةٍ إِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ {١٥٤} |
154. You are not except (a) human equal/alike to us , so come/bring with an evidence/sign/verse if you were from the truthful. |
| قَالَ هَٰذِهِ نَاقَةٌ لَهَا شِرْبٌ وَلَكُمْ شِرْبُ يَوْمٍ مَعْلُومٍ {١٥٥} |
155. He said: "This is a female camel, for it (is) a share of water/drink, and for you a known day`s/time`s share of water/drink." |
| وَلَا تَمَسُّوهَا بِسُوءٍ فَيَأْخُذَكُمْ عَذَابُ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ {١٥٦} |
156. And do not touch it with harm/evil (then) a great day`s torture takes/punishes you . |
| فَعَقَرُوهَا فَأَصْبَحُوا نَادِمِينَ {١٥٧} |
157. So they wounded it/slaughtered it/made it infertile, so they became/became in the morning regretful/remorseful . |
| فَأَخَذَهُمُ الْعَذَابُ ۗ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ {١٥٨} |
158. So the torture punished/took them, that in that (is) an evidence/sign (E) , and most of them were not believing. |
| وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ {١٥٩} |
159. And that truly your Lord He is (E), the glorious/mighty, the merciful. |
| كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ لُوطٍ الْمُرْسَلِينَ {١٦٠} |
160. Lot`s nation denied the messengers. |
| إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ لُوطٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ {١٦١} |
161. When their brother, Lot, said to them: "Do you not fear and obey?" |
| إِنِّي لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ {١٦٢} |
162. That I am for you a faithful messenger. |
| فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ {١٦٣} |
163. So fear and obey God and obey me. |
| وَمَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ {١٦٤} |
164. And I do not ask/beg you on it from a wage/fee/reward, that truly my wage/reward (is) except on the creations all together`s/(universe`s) Lord. |
| أَتَأْتُونَ الذُّكْرَانَ مِنَ الْعَالَمِينَ {١٦٥} |
165. Do you come/commit (sexually to) the males from the creations all together/(universes)? |
| وَتَذَرُونَ مَا خَلَقَ لَكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ مِنْ أَزْوَاجِكُمْ ۚ بَلْ أَنْتُمْ قَوْمٌ عَادُونَ {١٦٦} |
166. And you leave what your Lord created for you from your wives/spouses , but/rather, you are a nation transgressing/violating . |
| قَالُوا لَئِنْ لَمْ تَنْتَهِ يَا لُوطُ لَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْمُخْرَجِينَ {١٦٧} |
167. They said: "If (E) you do not end/terminate/stop, you Lot, you will be/become (E) from the brought/driven out ." |
| قَالَ إِنِّي لِعَمَلِكُمْ مِنَ الْقَالِينَ {١٦٨} |
168. He said: "That I am to your deed from the hating ." |
| رَبِّ نَجِّنِي وَأَهْلِي مِمَّا يَعْمَلُونَ {١٦٩} |
169. My Lord save/rescue me and my family/people from what they make/do . |
| فَنَجَّيْنَاهُ وَأَهْلَهُ أَجْمَعِينَ {١٧٠} |
170. So We saved/rescued him and his family/people all/all together. |
| إِلَّا عَجُوزًا فِي الْغَابِرِينَ {١٧١} |
171. Except old/weak (F) (was) in the remaining behind. |
| ثُمَّ دَمَّرْنَا الْآخَرِينَ {١٧٢} |
172. Then We destroyed the others . |
| وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ مَطَرًا ۖ فَسَاءَ مَطَرُ الْمُنْذَرِينَ {١٧٣} |
173. And We rained on them rain, so it became bad/harmful , the warned`s/given notice`s rain. |
| إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ {١٧٤} |
174. That in that (is) an evidence/sign/verse (E), and most of them were not believing. |
| وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ {١٧٥} |
175. And that your Lord, He is (E) the glorious/mighty , the merciful. |
| كَذَّبَ أَصْحَابُ الْأَيْكَةِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ {١٧٦} |
176. The thicket`s/dense tangled trees` owners/friends/company denied the messengers. |
| إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ شُعَيْبٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ {١٧٧} |
177. When/if Shu`aib said to them: "Do you not fear and obey?"263 |
| إِنِّي لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ {١٧٨} |
178. That I am for you a faithful messenger. |
| فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ {١٧٩} |
179. So fear and obey God and obey me. |
| وَمَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ {١٨٠} |
180. And I do not ask/beg you on it from a wage/fee/reward, that truly my wage/reward (is) except on the creations all together`s/(universes`) Lord. |
| أَوْفُوا الْكَيْلَ وَلَا تَكُونُوا مِنَ الْمُخْسِرِينَ {١٨١} |
181. Fulfill/complete the measurement/weight, and do not be from the reducers/decreasers (cheaters). |
| وَزِنُوا بِالْقِسْطَاسِ الْمُسْتَقِيمِ {١٨٢} |
182. And weigh/measure with the scale/measure the balanced . |
| وَلَا تَبْخَسُوا النَّاسَ أَشْيَاءَهُمْ وَلَا تَعْثَوْا فِي الْأَرْضِ مُفْسِدِينَ {١٨٣} |
183. And do not reduce/cheat the people (of) their things, and do not corrupt in the earth/Planet Earth corrupting/disordering . |
| وَاتَّقُوا الَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ وَالْجِبِلَّةَ الْأَوَّلِينَ {١٨٤} |
184. And fear and obey who created you, and the nation/creation, the first/beginners. |
| قَالُوا إِنَّمَا أَنْتَ مِنَ الْمُسَحَّرِينَ {١٨٥} |
185. They said: "Truly/indeed you are from the bewitched/enchanted." |
| وَمَا أَنْتَ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِثْلُنَا وَإِنْ نَظُنُّكَ لَمِنَ الْكَاذِبِينَ {١٨٦} |
186. And you are not except (a) human similar/equal to us , and that truly we suspect you (are) from (E) the liars/falsifiers . |
| فَأَسْقِطْ عَلَيْنَا كِسَفًا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ إِنْ كُنْتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ {١٨٧} |
187. So drop on us pieces from the sky/space if you were from the truthful. |
| قَالَ رَبِّي أَعْلَمُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ {١٨٨} |
188. He said: "My Lord (is) more knowledgeable with (about) what you make/do." |
| فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَخَذَهُمْ عَذَابُ يَوْمِ الظُّلَّةِ ۚ إِنَّهُ كَانَ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ {١٨٩} |
189. So they denied him , so torture (of) the shade`s day/time punished/took them, that it truly was a great day`s/time`s torture. |
| إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ {١٩٠} |
190. That in that (is) an evidence/sign/verse (E) and most of them were not believing. |
| وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ {١٩١} |
191. And that your Lord He is (E) the glorious/mighty , the merciful. |
| وَإِنَّهُ لَتَنْزِيلُ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ {١٩٢} |
192. And that it truly is descent (E) (from) Lord (of) the creations all together/(universes). |
| نَزَلَ بِهِ الرُّوحُ الْأَمِينُ {١٩٣} |
193. The Soul/Spirit , the faithful/loyal , descended with it. |
| عَلَىٰ قَلْبِكَ لِتَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُنْذِرِينَ {١٩٤} |
194. On your heart/mind to be (E) from the warners/givers of notice. |
| بِلِسَانٍ عَرَبِيٍّ مُبِينٍ {١٩٥} |
195. With a clear/evident Arabic tongue/language/speech. |
| وَإِنَّهُ لَفِي زُبُرِ الْأَوَّلِينَ {١٩٦} |
196. And that it truly is in (E) the first`s/beginner`s Books. |
| أَوَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُمْ آيَةً أَنْ يَعْلَمَهُ عُلَمَاءُ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ {١٩٧} |
197. Was not an evidence/sign/verse (to) be for them, that Israel`s sons` and daughters` learned ones/knowledgeable know it? (Was not an evidence for them that the Israelites` scholars know of it?) |
| وَلَوْ نَزَّلْنَاهُ عَلَىٰ بَعْضِ الْأَعْجَمِينَ {١٩٨} |
198. And even if We descended it on (to) some (of) the non-Arabs/Persians. |
| فَقَرَأَهُ عَلَيْهِمْ مَا كَانُوا بِهِ مُؤْمِنِينَ {١٩٩} |
199. So he read it on (to) them, (and) they were not with it believing. |
| كَذَٰلِكَ سَلَكْنَاهُ فِي قُلُوبِ الْمُجْرِمِينَ {٢٠٠} |
200. As/like that We entered it in the criminals`/sinners` hearts/minds . |
| لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ حَتَّىٰ يَرَوُا الْعَذَابَ الْأَلِيمَ {٢٠١} |
201. They do not believe with it until they see the torture, the painful. |
| فَيَأْتِيَهُمْ بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ {٢٠٢} |
202. So it comes to them suddenly/unexpectedly, and (while) they are not feeling/knowing/sensing. |
| فَيَقُولُوا هَلْ نَحْنُ مُنْظَرُونَ {٢٠٣} |
203. So they say: "Are we delayed ?" |
| أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونَ {٢٠٤} |
204. Are (they) with Our torture hastening/urging ? |
| أَفَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ مَتَّعْنَاهُمْ سِنِينَ {٢٠٥} |
205. So did you see if We gave them long life/made them enjoy years? |
| ثُمَّ جَاءَهُمْ مَا كَانُوا يُوعَدُونَ {٢٠٦} |
206. Then came to them what they were being promised. |
| مَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُمْ مَا كَانُوا يُمَتَّعُونَ {٢٠٧} |
207. What they were being made to enjoy did not enrich/suffice (benefit) from them. |
| وَمَا أَهْلَكْنَا مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ إِلَّا لَهَا مُنْذِرُونَ {٢٠٨} |
208. And We did not destroy from a village/urban city, except for it (are) warners/givers of notice.264 |
| ذِكْرَىٰ وَمَا كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ {٢٠٩} |
209. A remembrance/reminder, and We were not unjust/oppressive. |
| وَمَا تَنَزَّلَتْ بِهِ الشَّيَاطِينُ {٢١٠} |
210. And the devils did not descend with it. |
| وَمَا يَنْبَغِي لَهُمْ وَمَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ {٢١١} |
211. And (it) should not (be) for them, and they are not able. |
| إِنَّهُمْ عَنِ السَّمْعِ لَمَعْزُولُونَ {٢١٢} |
212. That they truly are from the hearing/listening , they are being separated/isolated (E) . |
| فَلَا تَدْعُ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا آخَرَ فَتَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُعَذَّبِينَ {٢١٣} |
213. So do not call with God another god, so you be/become from the tortured ones . |
| وَأَنْذِرْ عَشِيرَتَكَ الْأَقْرَبِينَ {٢١٤} |
214. And warn/give notice (to) your father`s near relations/tribe the nearest/closest. |
| وَاخْفِضْ جَنَاحَكَ لِمَنِ اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ {٢١٥} |
215. And be lenient/comforting your wing/side (be kind) to who followed you from the believers. |
| فَإِنْ عَصَوْكَ فَقُلْ إِنِّي بَرِيءٌ مِمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ {٢١٦} |
216. So if they disobeyed you, so say: "That I am innocent/renouncing from what you make/do ." |
| وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى الْعَزِيزِ الرَّحِيمِ {٢١٧} |
217. And rely/depend on the glorious/mighty, the merciful. |
| الَّذِي يَرَاكَ حِينَ تَقُومُ {٢١٨} |
218. Who sees you when you stand/get up . |
| وَتَقَلُّبَكَ فِي السَّاجِدِينَ {٢١٩} |
219. And your turning in (between) the prostrating. |
| إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ {٢٢٠} |
220. That He truly is the hearing/listening, the knowledgeable. |
| هَلْ أُنَبِّئُكُمْ عَلَىٰ مَنْ تَنَزَّلُ الشَّيَاطِينُ {٢٢١} |
221. Do I inform you, on (to) whom the devils descend? |
| تَنَزَّلُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ أَفَّاكٍ أَثِيمٍ {٢٢٢} |
222. (They) descend on (to) every/each liar/falsifier, sinner/criminal. |
| يُلْقُونَ السَّمْعَ وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ كَاذِبُونَ {٢٢٣} |
223. They listen attentively the hearing/listening , and most of them (are) lying/denying. |
| وَالشُّعَرَاءُ يَتَّبِعُهُمُ الْغَاوُونَ {٢٢٤} |
224. And the poets, (only) the misguiding/failing follow them. |
| أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّهُمْ فِي كُلِّ وَادٍ يَهِيمُونَ {٢٢٥} |
225. Do you not see that they truly are in every/each valley they wander about confused ? |
| وَأَنَّهُمْ يَقُولُونَ مَا لَا يَفْعَلُونَ {٢٢٦} |
226. And that they truly say what they do not make/do ? |
| إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَذَكَرُوا اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا وَانْتَصَرُوا مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا ظُلِمُوا ۗ وَسَيَعْلَمُ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا أَيَّ مُنْقَلَبٍ يَنْقَلِبُونَ {٢٢٧} |
227. Except those who believed and made/did the correct/righteous deeds and they remembered/mentioned God much, and they became victorious from after what they were caused injustice to/oppressed ; and those who caused injustice/oppressed will know which place of return , they return to.265 |
