AR-RAHMAAN
AR-RAHMAN
2. Bestowed the Qur´an,
3. Created man,
4. And taught him to express clearly.
الشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ بِحُسْبَانٍ {٥} 5. The sun and moon revolve to a computation;
6. And the grasses and the trees bow (to Him) in adoration.
7. He raised the sky and set the Balance
8. So that none may err against the scales,
9. And observe correct measure, weigh with justice, and not cheat the balance.
10. He positioned the earth for all the creatures:
11. There are fruits of all kinds on it, and date-palms with their clusters sheathed,
12. Grain with husk, and fragrant grasses.
13. How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny?
14. He created man of fermented clay dried tinkling hard like earthen ware,
15. And created jinns from the white-hot flame of fire.
16. How many favours of your Lord will you then deny?
17. Lord of the two Easts, Lord of the two Wests.
18. How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny?
19. He has set two seas in motion that flow side by side together,
20. With an interstice between them which they cannot cross.
21. How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? --
22. Out of them come pearls and coral.
23. How many favours of your Lord will you then deny?
24. His are the high-sailed vessels in deep ocean like the mountains.
25. How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny?
26. All that is on the earth is passing,
27. But abiding is the glory of your Lord, full of majesty and beneficence.
28. How many favours of your Lord will you then deny?
All those there are in the heavens and the earth turn to Him with solicitation, intent on His purpose all the time.
30. How many favours of your Lord will you then deny?
31. We shall soon be free to turn to you, O weary caravans,
32. How many favours of your Lord will you then deny?
O society of jinns and men, cross the bounds of the heavens and the earth if you have the ability, then pass beyond them; but you cannot unless you acquire the law.
34. How many favours of your Lord will you then deny?
35. Let loose at you will be smokeless flames of fire so that you will not be able to defend yourselves.
36. How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny?
37. When the sky will split asunder, and turn rosy like the dregs of annointing oil,
38. Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny?
39. Neither man nor jinn will be questioned on that day about his sin.
40. How many favours of your Lord will you then deny?
41. The sinners will be recognised by their marks, and seized by the forelock and their feet.
42. Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny?

44. They will go round and around between it and boiling water.

58. As though rubies and pearls.
