 |
| إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ {١} |
1. When/if the sky/space split/cracked . |
| وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ {٢} |
2. And listened/heard (obeyed) to its Lord, and became certain/fact/deserved . |
| وَإِذَا الْأَرْضُ مُدَّتْ {٣} |
3. And when/if the earth/Planet Earth was extended/spread. |
| وَأَلْقَتْ مَا فِيهَا وَتَخَلَّتْ {٤} |
4. And it threw what (is) in it, and became free. |
| وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ {٥} |
5. And listened/heard (obeyed) to its Lord and became certain/fact/deserved . |
| يَا أَيُّهَا الْإِنْسَانُ إِنَّكَ كَادِحٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَدْحًا فَمُلَاقِيهِ {٦} |
6. You, you the human/mankind, that you truly are exerting/labouring/toiling to your Lord exertion/labour/toil, so you (are) receiving/meeting Him . |
| فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ {٧} |
7. So but who was given/brought his Book/judgment with his right (hand). |
| فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا {٨} |
8. So he will be counted/calculated (with an) easy account/calculation . |
| وَيَنْقَلِبُ إِلَىٰ أَهْلِهِ مَسْرُورًا {٩} |
9. And he returns to his family/people delighted/happy. |
| وَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ وَرَاءَ ظَهْرِهِ {١٠} |
10. And but who was given/brought his Book/judgment behind his back . |
| فَسَوْفَ يَدْعُو ثُبُورًا {١١} |
11. So he will call (for) destruction and grief . |
| وَيَصْلَىٰ سَعِيرًا {١٢} |
12. And he suffers/burns blazing/inflaming (punishment). |
| إِنَّهُ كَانَ فِي أَهْلِهِ مَسْرُورًا {١٣} |
13. That he truly was in his family/people delighted/happy. |
| إِنَّهُ ظَنَّ أَنْ لَنْ يَحُورَ {١٤} |
14. That he truly thought/assumed that (E) he will never/not return. |
| بَلَىٰ إِنَّ رَبَّهُ كَانَ بِهِ بَصِيرًا {١٥} |
15. Yes/certainly, that truly his Lord was seeing/knowing with (of) him. |
| فَلَا أُقْسِمُ بِالشَّفَقِ {١٦} |
16. So I do not swear/make oath with the twilight . |
| وَاللَّيْلِ وَمَا وَسَقَ {١٧} |
17. And the night, and what carried/gathered/loaded. |
| وَالْقَمَرِ إِذَا اتَّسَقَ {١٨} |
18. And the moon when/if it organized/evened/gathered . |
| لَتَرْكَبُنَّ طَبَقًا عَنْ طَبَقٍ {١٩} |
19. You will ride/embark (E) a stage/layer/cover from/of/on a stage/layer/cover (they move from one state to another i.e. birth to death). |
| فَمَا لَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ {٢٠} |
20. So why (is it) for them, they do not believe? |
| وَإِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقُرْآنُ لَا يَسْجُدُونَ ۩ {٢١} |
21. And when/if the Koran is read on them they, they do not prostrate? |
| بَلِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يُكَذِّبُونَ {٢٢} |
22. But those who disbelieved they lie/deny/falsify. |
| وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يُوعُونَ {٢٣} |
23. And God (is) more knowing with what they comprehend/perceive/accept . |
| فَبَشِّرْهُمْ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ {٢٤} |
24. So announce good news to them with (of) a painful torture. |
| إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ {٢٥} |
25. Except those who believed and made/did the correct/righteous deeds, for them (is) a reward not obligated/interrupted |
