| هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ {١} |
1. Did the disaster`s/pericardium`s/Resurrection`s information/news come to you ? |
| وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَاشِعَةٌ {٢} |
2. Faces/fronts (on) that day (are) humble/submissive . |
| عَامِلَةٌ نَاصِبَةٌ {٣} |
3. Making/doing/working, fatigued/exhausted. |
| تَصْلَىٰ نَارًا حَامِيَةً {٤} |
4. It roasts/suffers a hot fire . |
| تُسْقَىٰ مِنْ عَيْنٍ آنِيَةٍ {٥} |
5. Being given drink/being watered from (a) present/near water well/spring. |
| لَيْسَ لَهُمْ طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِنْ ضَرِيعٍ {٦} |
6. Food/feeding is not for them except from Dareigh/gland (excretion) . |
| لَا يُسْمِنُ وَلَا يُغْنِي مِنْ جُوعٍ {٧} |
7. (It) does not fatten (nourish), and nor enriches/suffices from starvation/hunger. |
| وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَاعِمَةٌ {٨} |
8. Faces/fronts (on) that day (are) comfortable and eased/happy/smooth . |
| لِسَعْيِهَا رَاضِيَةٌ {٩} |
9. Accepting/approving for its striving/endeavor . |
| فِي جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍ {١٠} |
10. In an elevated/dignified treed garden/paradise. |
| لَا تَسْمَعُ فِيهَا لَاغِيَةً {١١} |
11. You do not hear/listen (to) nonsense/senseless talk in it. |
| فِيهَا عَيْنٌ جَارِيَةٌ {١٢} |
12. In it (is a) flowing/running water well/spring . |
| فِيهَا سُرُرٌ مَرْفُوعَةٌ {١٣} |
13. In it (are) raised royal beds/sofas. |
| وَأَكْوَابٌ مَوْضُوعَةٌ {١٤} |
14. And laid/raised cups . |
| وَنَمَارِقُ مَصْفُوفَةٌ {١٥} |
15. And lined/arranged small pillows/cushions. |
| وَزَرَابِيُّ مَبْثُوثَةٌ {١٦} |
16. And scattered/distributed carpets/rugs. |
| أَفَلَا يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَى الْإِبِلِ كَيْفَ خُلِقَتْ {١٧} |
17. Do they not look/wonder about to the camels how it was created? |
| وَإِلَى السَّمَاءِ كَيْفَ رُفِعَتْ {١٨} |
18. And to the sky/space how it was raised? |
| وَإِلَى الْجِبَالِ كَيْفَ نُصِبَتْ {١٩} |
19. And to the mountains how it was erected and raised/affixed? |
| وَإِلَى الْأَرْضِ كَيْفَ سُطِحَتْ {٢٠} |
20. And to the earth/Planet Earth how it was outspread/surfaced ? |
| فَذَكِّرْ إِنَّمَا أَنْتَ مُذَكِّرٌ {٢١} |
21. So remind, truly you are a reminder. |
| لَسْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ بِمُصَيْطِرٍ {٢٢} |
22. You are not on them with dominating/controlling. |
| إِلَّا مَنْ تَوَلَّىٰ وَكَفَرَ {٢٣} |
23. Except who turned away and disbelieved. |
| فَيُعَذِّبُهُ اللَّهُ الْعَذَابَ الْأَكْبَرَ {٢٤} |
24. So God tortures him the torture, the greatest . |
| إِنَّ إِلَيْنَا إِيَابَهُمْ {٢٥} |
25. That truly to Us (is) their return. |
| ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا حِسَابَهُمْ {٢٦} |
26. Then that truly on Us (is) their account/calculation. |
