 |
| وَالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ {١} |
1. And mount Sinai! |
| وَطُورِ سِينِينَ {٢} |
2. And this City made secure! -- |
| وَهَٰذَا الْبَلَدِ الْأَمِينِ {٣} |
3. Certainly We created man in the best make. |
| لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ فِي أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ {٤} |
4. Then We render him the lowest of the low, |
| ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَاهُ أَسْفَلَ سَافِلِينَ {٥} |
5. Except those who believe and do good; so theirs is a reward never to be cut off. |
| إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ {٦} |
6. So who can give the lie to thee after (this) about the Judgment? |
| فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِالدِّينِ {٧} |
7. Is not Allah the Best of the Judges? |
| أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ الْحَاكِمِينَ {٨} |
8. Read in the name of thy Lord who creates -- |
