 |
| وَالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ {١} |
1. By the Fig and the Olive, |
| وَطُورِ سِينِينَ {٢} |
2. And the Mount of Sinai, |
| وَهَٰذَا الْبَلَدِ الْأَمِينِ {٣} |
3. And this City of security,- |
| لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ فِي أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ {٤} |
4. We have indeed created man in the best of moulds, |
| ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَاهُ أَسْفَلَ سَافِلِينَ {٥} |
5. Then do We abase him (to be) the lowest of the low,- |
| إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ {٦} |
6. Except such as believe and do righteous deeds: For they shall have a reward unfailing. |
| فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِالدِّينِ {٧} |
7. Then what can, after this, contradict thee, as to the judgment (to come)? |
| أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ الْحَاكِمِينَ {٨} |
8. Is not Allah the wisest of judges? |
