 |
| إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ الْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا {١} |
1. And the earth brings forth her burdens, |
| وَأَخْرَجَتِ الْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا {٢} |
2. And man says: What has befallen her? |
| وَقَالَ الْإِنْسَانُ مَا لَهَا {٣} |
3. On that day she will tell her news, |
| يَوْمَئِذٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا {٤} |
4. As if thy Lord had revealed to her. |
| بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا {٥} |
5. On that day men will come forth in sundry bodies that they may be shown their works. |
| يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصْدُرُ النَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًا لِيُرَوْا أَعْمَالَهُمْ {٦} |
6. So he who does an atom’s weight of good will see it. |
| فَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُ {٧} |
7. And he who does an atom’s weight of evil will see it. |
| وَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُ {٨} |
8. By those running and uttering cries! |
