 |
| إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ الْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا {١} |
1. When the earth shall be shaken with its quaking! |
| وَأَخْرَجَتِ الْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا {٢} |
2. And the earth shall bring forth her burdens, |
| وَقَالَ الْإِنْسَانُ مَا لَهَا {٣} |
3. And man shall say, "What ails her!" |
| يَوْمَئِذٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا {٤} |
4. On that day she shall tell her tidings, |
| بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا {٥} |
5. Because your Lord inspires her. |
| يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصْدُرُ النَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًا لِيُرَوْا أَعْمَالَهُمْ {٦} |
6. On the day when men shall come up in separate bands to show their works: |
| فَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُ {٧} |
7. And he who does the weight of an atom of good shall see it then! |
| وَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُ {٨} |
8. And he who does the weight of an atom of evil shall see it! |
